Agricultural Equipment Intelligent Engineering Technology Research Center is another multidisciplinary integration platform after the establishment of the agricultural big data center.

The main task of the Agricultural Equipment Intelligent Engineering Technology Research Center is to aim at the development trend of the world's agricultural intelligent equipment and the needs of China's modern agriculture development, in order to improve the mechanization, automation, intelligence and standardization and informatization of agricultural production. Purpose, focus on sensor technology, agricultural information monitoring, intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment. Research on information acquisition, agricultural big data collaboration, intelligent agricultural equipment, agricultural robots and other technologies required for the intelligentization of agricultural production, and develop agricultural intelligent systems and equipment suitable for China's agricultural production with high technical content, low cost, and convenient and practical services In order to improve the efficiency of agricultural production and improve the implementation level of precision agriculture and smart agriculture in China. The research directions are mainly four directions: agricultural sensor research and development, agricultural information detection and processing technology, intelligent agricultural machinery equipment research and development, and intelligent agricultural system integration innovation.

　　For the healthy development of the center, Shandong Agricultural University recently invested 1.5 million yuan, relying on the Bohai Granary Technology Demonstration Project and Agricultural Big Data Platform, to form the Bohai Granary (saline-alkali wasteland) intelligent facility agricultural production and operation equipment integration system project. In the mid-term, Shandong Agricultural University invested 1 million yuan. According to the development needs of agricultural machinery in Shandong Province, combined with the research and development advantages of agricultural machinery equipment of Shandong Agricultural University, a series of innovative start-up projects for agricultural machinery research and development were selected to improve the competitiveness of agricultural machinery equipment R&D and innovation action projects.
